Join us for the GLF Youth Echo Showcase, an inspiring evening celebrating the voices, ideas and achievements of young people taking part in the Youth Echo Project, delivered by the Godwin Lawson Foundation.
The Youth Echo Project is designed to empower young people by helping them build confidence, leadership skills and a strong sense of purpose. Through mentoring, personal development activities and creative expression, participants are encouraged to explore the issues that matter to them, find their voice and develop the courage to share their perspectives with others.
Over the course of the programme, young people have taken part in sessions focused on self-belief, communication, teamwork and social awareness, while also being given space to reflect on their own experiences and ambitions. The aim is simple but powerful: to ensure that young people feel heard, valued and equipped to contribute positively to their communities.
The Youth Echo Showcase marks the culmination of this journey.
On the evening, young participants will step onto the stage to share spoken word, personal stories, reflections and powerful ideas about the world around them. It will be a celebration of growth, courage and creativity, and an opportunity for the wider community to hear directly from the next generation of leaders.
Events like this are important because they provide a platform for young people to express themselves and demonstrate the confidence they have developed through the programme. They also remind us how vital it is to invest in opportunities that support young people to grow, lead and shape the future of their communities.
