Missing Children

Overview: 
The Missing Children project provides vital support to families and children in Haringey, focusing on those reported missing from home or care. This initiative prioritises safety, participation, and strength-based approaches to family planning and support.

Objectives: 
  • Conduct return home interviews for missing children.
  • Help families understand the agency’s role and involvement.
  • Support families in planning for their children's safety and protection.
  • Encourage and support family decision-making and planning.
  • Create accepted family plans and mobilise support networks.
  • Use a strength-based approach, fostering collaboration between the agency and families.
