This summer, the Godwin Lawson Foundation is opening the doors to connection, learning, and fun with our Homecooked programme. From 4 August to 8 September, we’re inviting you to join us every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at The Trampery, 639 High Road, N17 8AA for a series of free, friendly sessions designed to bring our community closer together.

We believe that great things happen when people come together in a safe, welcoming space. That’s why Talk. Learn. Play.isn’t just a slogan — it’s an experience. Our sessions combine mentoring with games and creative activities, offering something for everyone, no matter your age or background.

What’s on the table?

  • ♟ Chess – Test your strategy skills, improve your focus, and enjoy a little friendly competition.
  • 🎲 Ludo – A classic game that’s all about fun, laughter, and a touch of luck.
  • 🃏 Cards – From quick games to longer challenges, cards bring people together like nothing else.
  • ⭕ Connect 4 – Fast-paced, competitive, and great for all ages.
  • 🎨 Mood Drawing – Express your feelings and creativity through art. No rules — just your imagination.
  • 🧩 Puzzles – Challenge your brain and work as a team to find the solutions.

Why join us?

We’ve created a safe space where you can meet new people, learn new skills, and enjoy quality time with others in your community. Whether you want to challenge yourself to a game of chess, share a laugh over Ludo, or simply sit down for a chat, Homecooked is for you.

And the best part? It’s completely free.

Be part of it

Spaces are open to everyone — just bring your curiosity, your competitive spirit, or your love for creativity. To register and stay up to date with our sessions, simply scan the QR code on our flyer, visit - https://rb.gy/1mslqf or visit us at The Trampery during the session times.

Let’s make this summer one of connection, laughter, and learning.
