From North London to the Super Bowl: Celebrating Our Friend, Aden Durde

The Godwin Lawson Foundation is immensely proud to celebrate our long-time supporter, Aden Durde, on his historic Super Bowl victory with the Seattle Seahawks. We will be forever grateful for the moment Aden personally designed and wore custom boots featuring Godwin’s name, bringing our mission to the global stage of the NFL. Our CEO and Godwin’s mother, Yvonne Lawson MBE, reflects on how Aden’s empathy and dedication have provided a beacon of hope for young people in North London. From his roots in the UK to becoming the first British-born coordinator to win the Lombardi Trophy, Aden has consistently used his platform to break barriers and honor Godwin’s legacy. His journey proves that with resilience, the "impossible" is reachable, and we are honored to have him in our corner.
